Research Grants & Charitable Funding Awarded

The Nineveh Charitable Trust provides grant-aid for UK-based projects that benefit the General Public. Education, access and preservation of the countryside are common themes, but we welcome creative new approaches that meet our charitable objectives (see the Trust’s Aims page)

The Grants Awarded Map to the left of this page shows our donations are concentrated in the south-east of England, although this distribution is becoming more widespread. The pattern of grant-awarding reflects our applicants, not our geographical prejudice.

We believe the kinds of projects we have funded must occur throughout the UK, but fewer applications reach us from the Midlands or the North of England (for example). Why is this?
